# $LETHE Token

## The idea

A \$LETHE token described on the landing page as part of the longer-term plan, with two mechanisms under consideration:

* **Stake to earn**: stakers would earn a share of fees generated by [x402](/roadmap/x402-micropayments) micropayments once that system is live.
* **Burn on use**: a deflationary mechanic tying token supply to API usage.

## Status

Undecided. There is no live token, no contract, and no staking mechanism today. Treat any specifics beyond this page as subject to change.

## What unlocks at TGE

[AI Influencer Studio](/roadmap/ai-influencer-studio) is gated behind the Token Generation Event rather than a separate launch. It goes live once the token does.
