LETHE is designed to provide broad access to artificial intelligence while protecting users, infrastructure, and third parties from unlawful, abusive, or directly harmful activity. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all LETHE products, interfaces, APIs, models, developer tools, blockchain functionality, and related Services. Use of LETHE does not become prohibited merely because a topic is controversial, sensitive, technical, political, unconventional, or capable of both beneficial and harmful applications. Restrictions under this policy focus on conduct that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or materially harmful.

1. Illegal Activity

You may not use LETHE to knowingly engage in, facilitate, coordinate, or materially assist unlawful activity. Users remain responsible for understanding and complying with laws applicable to their jurisdiction and intended use.

2. Child Sexual Exploitation

You may not use LETHE to:
  • Create child sexual abuse material
  • Request child sexual abuse material
  • Transform material into child sexual abuse material
  • Sexualize minors
  • Facilitate the sexual exploitation of minors
  • Distribute sexual content involving minors
  • Generate synthetic sexual material depicting minors
This restriction applies regardless of whether the material depicts a real or fictional child.

3. Non-Consensual Sexual Content

You may not use LETHE to create, distribute, facilitate, or meaningfully assist:
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Sexual deepfakes involving identifiable persons
  • Sexualized impersonations without consent
  • Voyeuristic sexual content
  • Sexual exploitation

4. Fraud and Deception

You may not use LETHE to knowingly facilitate harmful or unlawful fraud, including:
  • Phishing
  • Credential theft
  • Identity theft
  • Financial scams
  • Investment scams
  • Social engineering intended to steal assets
  • Forged authentication materials
  • Fraudulent impersonation
  • Deceptive schemes designed to obtain money, credentials, or property
Lawful discussion, analysis, education, fraud detection, or security research relating to these topics is permitted.

5. Cybersecurity Abuse

You may not use LETHE to materially assist unauthorized or destructive cyber activity, including:
  • Deploying ransomware
  • Stealing credentials
  • Unauthorized system intrusion
  • Destructive malware deployment
  • Denial-of-service attacks
  • Unauthorized exploitation of vulnerabilities
  • Data destruction
  • Exfiltration of protected information
This policy does not prohibit legitimate:
  • Security research
  • Defensive cybersecurity
  • Authorized penetration testing
  • Malware analysis
  • Capture-the-flag exercises
  • Academic research
  • Vulnerability remediation
  • Security education
Users must have appropriate authorization for activities involving systems they do not own.

6. Privacy Abuse

You may not use LETHE to knowingly facilitate unlawful:
  • Doxxing
  • Stalking
  • Harassment
  • Surveillance
  • Tracking
  • Identification of private individuals
  • Exposure of private personal information
  • Collection of credentials or secrets
  • Disclosure of highly sensitive personal information
Lawful investigative, journalistic, academic, compliance, and security activities remain subject to applicable law.

7. Violent Harm

You may not use LETHE to provide meaningful operational assistance for carrying out imminent or unlawful serious physical harm against identifiable persons. This restriction does not prohibit:
  • Fiction
  • Historical discussion
  • News analysis
  • Academic research
  • Safety information
  • Self-defense information
  • Lawful weapons discussion
  • Emergency preparedness
  • Medical information

8. Deceptive Synthetic Media

You may not use LETHE-generated or modified media to intentionally deceive others about the identity, actions, statements, or existence of a real person where doing so is unlawful or materially harmful. Users must comply with applicable disclosure requirements for AI-generated or manipulated media. You may not intentionally remove legally required provenance information, synthetic-content disclosures, or machine-readable markings for the purpose of facilitating deception.

9. Intellectual Property Abuse

You may not knowingly use LETHE to facilitate unlawful infringement or misappropriation of:
  • Copyright
  • Trademarks
  • Trade secrets
  • Confidential information
  • Other intellectual property rights
Questions, analysis, transformation, criticism, commentary, research, and other uses may be lawful depending on applicable law and context. Users are responsible for determining whether they have sufficient rights to use submitted material.

10. Platform Abuse

You may not:
  • Circumvent usage limits
  • Evade rate limits
  • Abuse guest quotas
  • Farm accounts
  • Farm API keys
  • Share credentials for the purpose of bypassing restrictions
  • Interfere with service operation
  • Intentionally overload LETHE infrastructure
  • Probe LETHE systems without authorization
  • Attempt to access another user’s account
  • Attempt to access another user’s stored content
  • Exploit technical vulnerabilities in LETHE without authorization
  • Introduce malware into LETHE infrastructure
  • Bypass authentication mechanisms
Responsible security research should be conducted only with appropriate authorization.

11. Blockchain and Digital Asset Abuse

You may not use LETHE or related blockchain functionality to knowingly facilitate:
  • Theft of digital assets
  • Unauthorized wallet access
  • Private-key theft
  • Seed-phrase theft
  • Wallet-draining schemes
  • Money laundering
  • Terrorist financing
  • Sanctions evasion
  • Fraudulent token schemes
  • Market manipulation prohibited by applicable law
  • Unauthorized blockchain transactions
Lawful blockchain research, smart-contract development, financial analysis, security research, and educational activity are not prohibited merely because they involve digital assets.

12. Financial Abuse

You may not use LETHE to knowingly carry out or materially assist unlawful financial activity. This includes knowingly facilitating:
  • Fraudulent fundraising
  • Theft
  • Deceptive investment schemes
  • Unauthorized financial transactions
  • Evasion of legally applicable financial restrictions
LETHE may provide general information relating to finance, markets, trading, cryptocurrencies, and digital assets, but users remain responsible for their own decisions.

13. Credentials and Secrets

Users must not use LETHE to unlawfully acquire or disclose:
  • Passwords
  • Authentication tokens
  • API keys
  • Private keys
  • Seed phrases
  • Session credentials
  • Security secrets
Users should not submit their own sensitive credentials to LETHE prompts.

14. Automated Abuse

You may not use automated systems to:
  • Scrape LETHE in violation of access controls
  • Create excessive accounts
  • Circumvent quotas
  • Generate abusive traffic
  • Degrade service availability
  • Enumerate private user data
  • Probe infrastructure without authorization
Normal API use, authorized automation, indexing permitted by LETHE, and legitimate developer integrations are not prohibited.

15. High-Impact Decisions

Users should not rely solely on unverified LETHE Output to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects concerning another person in areas such as:
  • Employment
  • Credit
  • Insurance
  • Housing
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Legal rights
Users are responsible for applying appropriate human review and complying with applicable laws governing automated decision-making.

16. AI-Generated Content Responsibility

Users are responsible for how they use, publish, distribute, or act upon AI-generated Output. LETHE-generated content may be inaccurate or misleading. Users must independently assess whether Output is suitable for the intended purpose and whether publication requires additional:
  • Verification
  • Attribution
  • Disclosure
  • Human review
  • Consent
  • Legal authorization

17. Enforcement

LETHE may investigate suspected violations of this policy. Where reasonably necessary, LETHE may:
  • Limit functionality
  • Rate-limit activity
  • Revoke API credentials
  • Suspend accounts
  • Restrict wallet-linked access
  • Remove access to particular features
  • Terminate access
  • Preserve information required for security investigations
  • Comply with valid legal requests
Enforcement may consider factors including:
  • Severity
  • Intent
  • Repetition
  • Actual or potential harm
  • Legal requirements
  • Security risk
  • Attempts to evade enforcement
Where practical, LETHE may target specific abusive functionality rather than restrict broader lawful use.

18. Security Research

Researchers who identify a potential security vulnerability should avoid:
  • Accessing unnecessary user information
  • Modifying user data
  • Destroying data
  • Disrupting service availability
  • Exfiltrating secrets
  • Publicly disclosing exploitable vulnerabilities before reasonable remediation efforts
Good-faith security research should minimize harm and respect applicable law.

19. Reporting Abuse

Users may report suspected misuse, security issues, unlawful activity, or violations of this policy through LETHE’s official communication channels. Reports should include sufficient information to identify and investigate the relevant activity.

20. Changes to This Policy

LETHE may update this Acceptable Use Policy as technologies, threats, products, and legal requirements evolve. The current version will be made available through official LETHE interfaces. Continued use of the Services after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
